Just a note to thank you both so much for making our week on The Shannon so enjoyable. From the moment we arrived we felt so welcome and the lengthy tutorial you gave was fantastic. It gave us the knowledge and confidence that we needed to ensure we were safely able to enjoy our week long trip on the beautiful Galileo. The boat was so lovely, with such spacious living areas and a great cook’s kitchen. Your tips and recommendations for places to go were invaluable. And cruising on a discreet hire boat, without signage, felt like we owned our own piece of the cruising lifestyle.

Definitely the best holiday that we have had, I can only recommend hiring through pleasurecruisers.ie for a trip on The Shannon. Excellent service with a personal touch.

We stayed for a week on the Galileo recently. We would like to thank Dave and Fergus for a great week. The boat was beautiful and the wine on arrival a lovely thought. Dave provides excellent tuition for first timers and is at the end of the phone at all times. Dave and Fergus recommended excellent restaurants along the way and will even go out of their way and make reservations. ‘The Cottage’ in Jamestown is a must for foodies out there. Would recommend Fergus and Dave to anybody thinking of trying this type of holiday. Thanks again lads!!

Dave and Fergus made our first cruising experience so relaxing and enjoyable. From looking looking at the videos on the website to Fergus taking the time to answer our questions over the phone, to Dave’s 2 hour induction we felt so comfortable and reassured heading off for our long weekend. 1st time ever trying a break like this and can say hands down was an amazing experience from start to finish. Dave and Fergus are brilliant guys and spent as much time as we needed to ensure our break would be enjoyable and safe. we hired the Camlin for 3 nights and got to stop off at some lovely places to eat and socialise,all in all a brilliant time away. The boat was spotless a bottle of wine on arrival. Anyone looking to try this should book through Fergus and Dave. Thanks so much guys.

From the day I inquired about booking the boat Dave was very helpful and supportive and gave all details about trip such as best places to visit and delicious food like in Cottage in Jamestown.
Boat was very clean and full training was provided untill i was confident.
I recommend Dave and Fergus if you want a good experience.

Just wanted to say thanks guy for a wonderful 2 weeks we just spent on your Haines cruiser Banyan. Right from the start you were great to deal with, with all queries answered quickly. The welcome we got on arrival was very warm and induction was thorough and interesting.
The boat itself was exactly as described on your website, extremely clean and had everything we needed. Very comfortable altogether. Looking forward to another holiday on the Shannon.

Just back from our first boat trip with Pleasure Cruisers. Wow. What can I say about Fergus and Dave. We had the Galileo for four nights and from the moment I booked it last year these guys could not have been more helpful. They spent a couple of hours with us on induction showing us the proper way to tie up the boat, where to go, restaurants, pubs, routes. Touch of class with the bottle of wine which we had on the boat the first night after a lovely meal in Cox’s of Dromod. Everyone we met along the way were helpful to us. We had a fantastic holiday in a beautiful part of Ireland so kindly organized for us by Leitrim’s adopted sons. Dave & Fergus thanks a million and expect a repeat booking from us in the next few weeks.

2nd time back with Dave and Fergus, such nice guys, booked the 4 berth Galileo with friends for the June bank holiday weekend. Had such an amazing time again would highly recommend the experience and lough key was amazing, best time ever in our lovely little country and Dave recommended some great places to eat and gave us the best training ever he puts you at ease and makes you confident with the boat. Can’t wait to come back very soon
