Planning an Irish cruise holiday on The River Shannon?

At Pleasure Cruisers we can make this happen for you with our shannon boat rental!

What better way than to rent a boat and cruise Ireland, and enjoy the delights of the magnificent waterway of the Shannon, other than in the comfort of our own privately owned cruiser?

At Pleasure Cruisers all our boats, which we privately own, are well appointed to provide you with everything you will need to make your holiday on the Shannon a “Pleasure”!

When you step on board you will find everything, from a well equipped galley to flat screen TV/DVD, bedding, towels, life jackets, charts, binoculars and anything else that we think you may require to complete your holiday, including advice on your itinerary. As our boats are fully upholstered and carpeted throughout we don’t allow pets on board, also bicycles, as they can be a trip hazzard and can damage the boats.
We have car parking available.

If you have had previous boating experience all the better but if not, don’t worry. We are qualified RYA instructors and we will spend as long as it takes to make you feel comfortable handling the boat before we hand the controls over to you.

We at Pleasure Cruisers are in touch with your needs; we tailor our services to your requirements and offer you The Personal Touch!

What People Say

How lucky were we to find ourselves on the lovely Banyan for some of the best weeks of the Summer. We cruised from Roosky to Killaloe, crossing both Lough Ree and Lough Derg. The trip down the Shannon, through Athlone, Clonmacnoise, up the river Suck to Ballinasloe and on through Banagher and Portumna was so relaxing and we enjoyed all the nature we encountered along the way – kingfishers, swan families with their fluffy cygnets, cormorants, gulls, cattle, Connemara ponies, sheep, the list goes on. Banyan was totally reliable and so well kitted out, thanks to Dave and Fergus. We had every comfort on board – including the new oven. We knew that, even though we were a long way from Roosky, if we needed any assistance they were only a phone call away. Lough Derg, it’s lovely villages and Killaloe are so worth the visit (you really need two weeks to do this). The scenery around Lough Derg is spectacular and every village has it’s attractions / pubs with trad music / great coffee shops and restaurants. All the marinas are well maintained, with floating jetties, showers, toilets, water, shore power. See you next time guys!
